Both. Every new company gets a 2-month free trial with all Large plan features (up to 100 users, including Hour Breakdown) — no credit card required. You can activate a subscription at any time during or after the trial. If you don't, your account moves to the Free plan, which stays free for up to 5 users and includes leave management and the personal calendar.
The admin generates a QR code for each workplace location. Employees scan it with their smartphone; the platform automatically verifies they are within the configured GPS radius. Every event is timestamped, attributed to the user, and stored in the full audit log.

No. TimeMetrics subscriptions do not renew automatically. You receive reminder notifications before your subscription expires and renew manually when you are ready to continue. There are no unexpected charges.
RFID card readers and barcode terminals connect via the TimeMetrics REST API. Raw events are processed asynchronously into clocking records. Each terminal's in/out direction is configurable from the admin panel.
